so we had smores in the kitchen at midnight.
some people were trying to measure the speed of light by the following method:
put a line of marshmallows in the microwave.
turn the microwave on for twenty seconds or so.
watch some marshmallows inflate more than others, it's kind of wave-like.
measure the distance between the peaks of this wave.
the microwave says on the back the frequency of the waves it emits.
multiply and you have the speed of light.
we figured out that the wavelength of the light in our microwave was one graham cracker.
but we couldnt' find a ruler.
and we couldn't find the frequency either.
so the speed of light is hereby decreed to be one graham cracker per cycle.
